HI, I'M LAUREN & I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE

Lauren Clare Photography about me (photo taken by Matthew Gillam Photography)

I call the Gold Coast home, but I’ve actually spent the past few years living in Europe. I’m a big, big lover of travel. Favourite country? Glad you asked. Spain. Favourite drink? That’s a tough one, but I'll lock in a glass of Cab Sav.  Hobbies? Padel, padel and more padel! (Can you tell I'm over 30?)

I’ve always been a people person. I just love people (and dogs, obviously. Let’s not forget the pups). I’m social, love a chat and will happily get amongst it all, but I’m also a bit of a chameleon. I read the room, adapt to the energy and know when to bring the fun and when to let things happen naturally.

Lauren Clare Photography about me

Before photography, I worked in events, including with some pretty high-profile talent. It taught me a lot about what goes on behind the scenes and how to keep things running smoothly when there are a million things happening at once. So while I’m there to capture it all, I’m also quietly keeping an eye on the bigger picture, helping where I can and bringing a sense of calm when it’s needed most.

When I’m not behind a camera, you’ll usually find me outdoors. Swimming, wakeboarding, hiking, camping, snowboarding, or just getting those 10k steps in! I’m always up for an adventure and love being out in nature, whether that's camping or just getting outside for a little reset. I think that’s probably where my love for capturing real moments comes from, finding beauty in the little things and making the most of every experience.

And yep, I was a 2026 bride myself! So I know what it’s like, all the planning, finding the right vendors, putting together the guest list and everything else that comes with it. Now that it’s all over, I probably look at our wedding photos more times than I’m willing to admit... They take me straight back to the day, and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever get sick of reliving it all. This is what I want for you as well.

I know being in front of a camera can feel awkward at times, which is why I will guide you. I love approaching your day by simply fitting in.

I’ll get to know your people and capture what’s happening without making you feel like you’re on a photoshoot. I'm all about keeping things easy, I'll be the calming presence before the first look, I'll get amongst the dance floor and I'll capture all the moments you didn’t even see happening.

If you’re after polished & heavily retouched images, I’m probably not for you. But if my documentary, natural style resonates with you, we'll be a great fit!

Whatever you need from me on the day, I’ve got you.

MY PROCESS

STEP ONE: Enquire to see if your wedding date is available. I only take on a select number of weddings each year, so once we’ve confirmed your date is free, we can make it officially yours.

STEP TWO: We’ll have a planning call before your wedding to chat about your vision for the day.

When the day arrives, you get me, giving it my absolute all, capturing every emotion and little detail that makes your story uniquely yours.

STEP THREE: Your images are delivered in a private online gallery, ready to download and share with the people you love - so you can relive the moments for years to come.

Can’t wait to meet you BOTH & hear your story! x
